Our family heritage
A few years back we created a family-oriented, friendly and relaxed apartment complex right on the Gouves seafront, looking out to the Aegean Sea. Our flats were built in local style, self-sufficient, comfortable, and cozy. We want our guests to feel at home while enjoying true Greek hospitality. That is why half of our seasons’ bookings are from friends who are returning to create their fresh… sweet memories!
2016
A new beginning
in 2012 we moved to renovate some of the apartments, upscaling services provided, and open “The Votsalo” Gastro – Bar Restaurant at the seafront. A gastronomic experience like no other. focusing on local delicacies, cooked with the very best raw materials from the island of Crete.

Culinary Vacations
Gastronomy is the best way to get to know a place in-depth, and that if you do not eat, if you do not drink and if you do not dance and sing you will not feel the real taste of Greece. Having this in mind we created the only culinary vacation packages on the island of Crete, providing accommodation and cooking workshops. Ιn combination with connoisseurs of Greek and Cretan cuisine, we created exquisite experiences of gastronomic interest.

“… Spotless accommodation, a double mattress you don’t want to get up off, brilliant water pressure in the shower, quick boil kettle, fridge large enough to hold several bottles of wine, taps ideal for anyone with arthritis, washing clothes rails, huge firm pillows, crisp cotton sheets, thick towels, shutters on windows so you can still have privacy and fresh air, ideally situated near supermarkets, beach and restaurants/bars.”

“… Stayed here for 2 weeks. Very basic, but you get what you pay for. Very spacious with a large bedroom and a large kitchen diner that could also sleep 2 as it has 2 single beds built in around it. Just opposite the beach which looks like a pebble beach, when I fact as you walk into the water it’s just soft sand. The owner-manager is very helpful and Maria cleans twice weekly. Could do with a bit of TLC, but a comfortable stay. Would def go back again.”
